Voices of Activism is an innovative oral history project that bridges the classroom with Boston’s diverse network of social justice and community organizations. Revived and reimagined following the Armenian Genocide Remembrance initiative, the project broadens the lens of activism to include a wide range of voices and spaces often overlooked in traditional narratives. Students are trained to conduct, transcribe, and analyze in-depth interviews, honing their skills in powerful storytelling, critical reflection, and civic engagement. Their work showcases youth-driven narratives that amplify community perspectives and inspire active participation in shaping social change.
